Celtic Wedding Rings – Why Choose A Matching Set?

It is true that Celtic rings are some of the most popular kinds of wedding rings that are preferred not only by the Irish but also by people from other countries. It does not come as a surprise since we all know that Celtic Wedding Rings are known for their rich cultural history, great symbolism of love, and intricate patterns and designs.

One of the primary reasons for the popularity of Celtic wedding rings is the fact that it is a symbol of everlasting love and undying dedication. For one, the circular shape of the wedding ring has no beginning and no end, and so this signifies a couple’s never-ending love and devotion for each other.

Moreover, the elaborate interweaving of silver and gold strands into beautiful knots represents the fusion of two people who are to be bound by their everlasting love. It resembles a marriage wherein two people become one.

Another reason why Celtic wedding rings are widely admired is the mystery and mysticism that they posses. This also signifies the circular nature of all the elements found in this world.

When looking for Celtic wedding rings, one of the foremost things a couple has to consider is whether to get them in a matching set or not. This is one decision that both the bride and groom should make.

There are many reasons why a lot of couples prefer to have a matching set of Celtic wedding rings. One of the most obvious reasons is that getting them in a matching pair symbolizes partnership and bond.

Some couples prefer to get matching set of wedding rings for practical reasons. More often than not, it is less expensive to buy a pair of rings than to get two rings of different styles and patterns. Another reason is due to cultural beliefs. Traditionally, wedding rings always came in matching pairs and some couples choose to uphold this old custom.

Of course, there are also some downsides to this because some couples find it difficult to agree on the design and pattern. For one, it is not that easy to find a design that suits both male and female. Other than that, couples are still two different people who have unique tastes and preferences. What one might like may not be approved by the other.

But however way you look at it, it is still always a nice idea to get a matching set of wedding rings. Even if you and your loved one do not have the same taste, you can always find a ring that will suitable for the both of you.

This also helps you to practice meeting halfway, which is an important part of married life. You need to be able to compromise and make a decision that both of you will happy about.

In addition to deciding whether to get a matching set or not, a couple needs to consider other things as well when buying wedding rings. Some of these factors include size of the couple’s fingers, type of metal to be used, design and pattern of the ring, and the cost.

The size is always a major issue as couples definitely need to try on a ring before buying it or else risk ending up with a ring that is either too loose, too tight, or something that does not look good on you. As for the type of metal, you have a choice among gold, silver, white gold and platinum wedding rings.

When it comes to the design, couples need to choose among a wide variety of elaborate knot works, patterns, and gemstones. Cost is also a factor because you need to find a ring that is not only beautiful but is also something that you can afford.

Aside from Celtic wedding rings, there are also Celtic Engagement Rings that are equally just as beautiful and elegant. These engagement rings bring promise of eternal love and commitment between two people who plan to tie the knot someday.

Celtic rings are definitely a popular choice among today’s brides and grooms. You do not even have to be Irish to fall in love with this fine piece of art that will surely be a testament to you and your loved one’s true and undying love for each other.
